Dr. Rachel Burns

Veterinarian

Dr. Rachel Burns was born and raised in northern Wisconsin, growing up with a multitude of animals, from dogs and cats to rabbits and geckos. She graduated from UW-River Falls with a degree in Animal Science and, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, is returning to the Northwoods. Dr. Burns is excited to begin her career with the team at Northern Paws and can’t wait to meet you and your pets! In her spare time, Dr. Burns enjoys reading, traveling, spending time outdoors, and doing her best to instill some manners in her rambunctious two-year-old dog, Pip.
